The workflow
The vehicle record stays at the center. Costs, customer details, deal numbers, and final paperwork all follow it.
Enter the VIN, confirm the decoded details, and assign the stock number.
Record purchase, transport, auction, parts, labor, and other costs as they happen.
Add the buyer, taxes, fees, trade, deposit, and financing terms.
Select the forms for the deal, preview the paperwork, and download the finished documents.
Mobile workflow
Add recon costs from the shop, enter the deal with the buyer, and review front-end, back-end, and total profit before the paperwork is final.
What it covers
See what is in stock, in recon, or sold—and what you have in each vehicle.
Keep the buyer and the full deal structure attached to the right vehicle.
Pull saved deal data into the forms you need, then preview and print.
For individuals
VectorDMS isn’t only for dealerships. Individual accounts are for the collector who always has another car coming in, the person who buys and sells regularly, or someone managing a small fleet.
Keep the VIN, title details, mileage, purchase price, and added costs with each vehicle. Set a target sale price and see what you have invested before you sell.
Individual accounts leave out dealer-only taxes, fees, financing, and F&I fields. They use private-sale paperwork instead, including a bill of sale tailored to an individual seller.
Pricing
Both available plans include inventory, customers, deals, cost tracking, and one user.
Up to 5 vehicles. Bill of sale and odometer disclosure included.
Up to 25 vehicles. Every form template and custom PDF mapping.

Why I built VectorDMS
I bought and sold cars on Craigslist as a teenager. I worked my way up the ranks of dealership life—from keeping track of inventory and running errands, to F&I, to buying and reconditioning inventory and doing reporting. I know exactly what it’s like to fight frustrating, bloated software while just trying to do your job.
I eventually left the dealership world to build a career in software engineering, and I was able to apply my experience to build the system I genuinely wanted to use: practical, dependable, and designed around the work.
I built this application for myself. I’m putting it out there because I built something genuinely good that can help people. This isn’t a product from some faceless corporation designed to charge the most for the least. It isn’t a buggy prototype dressed up as finished software. I miss simple, well-made tools that do their job without bloat or constant attempts to extract more money. That is the standard I am building toward.
